Rory McIlroy's driver giveaway causes "a bit of a stir" for one elated fan
Remember when a fan asked Rory McIlroy on Facebook for one of his drivers? And was shocked when Rory responded by saying he'd send him one? Well, apparently that feel-good story has a feel-good ending.
On Thursday, McIlroy posted a photo of the Eiffel Tower from Paris that had many wondering if he'd travelled to the City of Lights to propose to his girlfriend. The photo drew plenty of responses, but this one from Barry Edwards (We know it's the same guy because he called Rory "fella" again) stood out:
Good for you, Barry. "Crazy exciting times ahead," indeed. More importantly, how far are you hitting that thing?
