Red On The Board

SUGAR GROVE, Ill.-- Two hours into Saturday's competition, Nicole Castrale birdies the par-3 5th hole to give the U.S. team a 1-up lead in match no. 11 (match no. 3 of the day), the first time all morning we see red on the board. Moments later, Wie and Kim win the 8th hole with pars to go 1-up in match no. 9. And the momentum is swinging back in the other matches as well: match no. 10 is all square after favoring the Europeans in the early stages, and match no. 12 has gone from 2-up to 1-up for the Euros.
