Virtual PGA Show 2021
6 emerging golf brands that caught our eye at the Virtual PGA Show
For more than 65 years, the PGA Merchandise Show has been where the golf industry has showcased what’s new, exciting and innovative. From equipment to apparel, training aids to fitness products, the annual gathering often offers a first look at what will be trending in the coming year. Ordinarily held in the cavernous Orlando County Convention Center in Florida, the show moved online for the first time in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with buyers and vendors participating in a virtual experience and marketplace. We walked the virtual show floor to find these emerging golf apparel brands that are ready to make a splash this year.
Premium Italian fabrics and out-of-the-box designs are what make this new golf apparel brand stick out. Great for those looking to push the style boundaries on the course, Nevermindall’s fashion-forward menswear includes thoughtfully designed layering pieces, bold tops and versatile golf pants.
On the women’s side, Nevermindall has runway-inspired golf pieces to suit any look and climate. The cold weather collection includes sweaters and jackets that are anything but drab, and for when the temperatures rise, we can’t get enough of this sleeveless top and skirt set.
Even virtually, the creations from new exhibitor Omnix Golf are show-stopping. Infused with fashion-forward styling and performance-ready materials, these golf bags reimagine the possibilities of club transportation. Design your own or choose from several stock options ranging from the metallic Rose Champagne bag, the clear Bloody Mary bag or one of the simpler solids.
Boston Scott Golf
Boston Scott Golf is focused on finding the perfect fit for golf shirts with a distraction-less wear and clean finish. The shirts taper slightly at the waist to help the hem stay tucked in and are designed with a little extra space in the armpit for more mobility and less squeeze.
Red Belly Active
Out of Australia, Red Belly Active is a women’s golf apparel brand focused on style and functionality. The brand’s golf shirts are unique, ultra-soft and have sun protection built in. A highlight of the recent collection is the edgy Pipe Dreams pattern that’ll spice up any golf look. Red Belly also releases a handful of men’s golf shirts each season to match select patterns on the women’s side.
Orca Golf Bags
Orca Golf Bags is the only female- and minority-owned golf bag design company in the U.S. and is building a name for its head-turning bag designs. This bold leather cart bag has a stand option in a hidden pocket that adds extra utility. It’s made with a lightweight leather exterior, tons of pockets and is totally customizable.
