PGA Championship 2025 tee times: Sunday's final-round pairings at Quail Hollow

With 90 minutes remaining Saturday at Quail Hollow the leaderboard was jam packed. Then Scottie Scheffler happened.

The World No. 1 was hovering near the top all day during the third round of the PGA Championship then played the last five holes five under par. FIVE! It started with an eagle on the par-4 14th hole when he drove it to three feet and converted the easy putt. Birdies followed at Nos. 15, 17 and 18 to shoot 65 and sit at 11-under-par total.

Alex Noren is three shots back. J.T. Poston and Davis Riley are tied for third place. Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm, who both held the lead at one point midway during the round, are six and five shots behind respectively.

"I hung in there really well today," Scheffler said. "Overall did a good job of staying patient and hit some nice shots."

Yeah, a few nice shots.

As Sunday arrives there is so much history now on the line. The early part of the PGA Tour season has belonged to Rory McIlroy, winning three times, including the Players Championship and the Masters to capture the career Grand Slam. Now, Scheffler is looking to claim this part of the calendar. He won two weeks ago at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in Texas by eight shots and takes a three-shot lead into the final round of the PGA Championship looking for his third major and first Wanamaker Trophy.

Heady stuff.
