PGA Championship 2021: Bryson DeChambeau has a UFO sighting story, because, of course he does

May 19, 2021

Last year, we put together a list of 101 things that happened to Bryson DeChambeau because a LOT of things happen to this guy. Apparently, though, we missed a big one.

UFO sightings are all the rage these days so it shouldn't be much of a surprise to learn the PGA Tour star has experienced his own ecounter with "some other life." What's definitely not a surprise is that DeChambeau went into great detail describing what happened—or what he thinks happened—earlier this week on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio.

Bryson says he was in his Texas backyard with instructor Chris Como and friend Adam Hurley when they noticed "three little silver metallic discs" in the sky.

“They were all moving in a triangle shape,” DeChambeau told hosts Gary McCord and Drew Stoltz. “We were out there for literally just under an hour thinking, ‘What the heck is this?’"

According to DeChambeau, the three objects disappeared quickly when they went inside. The former physics major offered theories from a "Tony Stark individual doing things we can't explain" to "wormholes," before settling on this explanation.

"Personally, I think that it’s some other life that we don’t understand or know as of right now. I don’t think it is other technology that we currently in this dimension understand."

OK then . . . Anyway, have a listen:

Kudos to Bryson for being so candid about this. And also not for somehow using it as a way to plug one of his sponsors. Come to think of it, how does he not have a telescope sponsor yet?

But first things first, this week, he's at the PGA Championship, where he's one of the favorites to win. And that, though, he's an absolute lock to become the first golfer to ink some sort of UFO endorsement deal.
