Overheard in the gallery Saturday at Augusta National
By Ashley Mayo
AUGUSTA, GA. -- Welcome to Augusta National,* where Jordan Spieth acted like anything BUT a Masters rookie. A complete Masters experience involves eavesdropping on spectator chatter. Below, some of the odd exchanges we overheard in the gallery during the second round.*

Patron on the practice range: "Imagine playing with Rory at the Masters? Not sure if that'd be my biggest dream come true or my biggest nightmare."
Patron, about McIlroy's marker: "He's just some nobody who RIPS it."
Guy, about Jason Day: "He was way cooler with long hair." Guy's friend: "You think?" Guy: "I like burly."
Patron, when McIlroy "finally" mishits his 3-wood on the range: "Thank yooouuuu, I appreciate that."
Guy looking at Miguel Angel Jimenez walk onto the practice range: "Jimenez looks normal from behind. ... Then he turns around."
Jordan Spieth's tee shot on the first hole went so far left, he had a clear view of the green. That's when girl asks guy standing next to her, "Does that mean it was a good tee shot?" Guy: "No."
Guy, to a dude: "I was out 'till 7:30." Dude: "P.M.?" Guy stares at dude: "A.M."
Woman marveling at the grass in the open field between the second and 18th holes: "How awesome would it be to pass a soccer ball on this? That's all I can think about."
Patron, standing along the left side of the 10th fairway and pointing at the fairway bunker: "That is claaaaasssiicccc Donald Ross."
As a guy overtly checks out a beautiful girl, the girl sitting next to him says, "You are a pig. Just so you know."
Guy holding a stack of at least 20 Masters cups: "Best day of mah life."
Patron, chatting with a friend: "Shane was my dad's best man in his fourth wedding."
Woman, when Stephen Gallacher's approach shot on the 18th hole landed close to the hole, then rolled away from it: "That's a cold-hearted slap in the face."
Patron, when Spieth birdied the par-5 15th hole: "I WANT HIS LIFE."
