Don't expect to see Colin Montgomerie on the Champions Tour when he turns 50
in six years. At least that's what he's saying now in the Sunday Herald of Scotland.
Away from the customary pressures heaped on him during Open Championship week, Montgomerie had an insouciant outlook as he signed golf shirts for his star-struck pupils in a clubhouse set on 500 acres of lush grassland. "I just cannot see me wanting to start again in six years' time on the Senior Tour or seeing myself playing in a Senior's Open," Montgomerie said, before looking back on yet another disappointing Open experience.
