Lifestyles of the rich and famously aggrieved?
The membership at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Fla., is portrayed in a less than favorable light in Laurence Leamer's book, "Madness Under the Royal Palms: Love and Death Behind the Gates of Palm Beach," according to a Washington Post review of the book.
The reviewer, Diana McLellan, writes: "One sad reality for members of all faiths is that often men who've spent busy lives chasing money never learn how to lie back and enjoy it. Members of Donald Trump's bizarrely luxurious International Golf Club, who pay $300,000 to join and then fork over $10,000 a year in annual dues, bellyache constantly, according to Leamer, about tee times, water temperature, food and the sluggish players in front of them and the belligerent pushers behind them on their magnificent course."
