Johnny Manziel was having absolutely NONE of Bubba Watson's Tik Tok on the 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale

February 04, 2021

The crowd may be reduced at the Waste Management Phoenix Open this year, but that didn't stop Bubba Watson from putting on a show for the fans at the 16th hole on Wednesday. Not only did he hit the famed par-3 with a driver from 150 yards out, he also .... filmed a Tik Tok?

That's right, Bubba brought the combo you didn't know you needed, and certainly didn't ask for, to the 16th during the Pro-am: Tik Tok and golf. The result was, well, we're not really sure, we're just thrilled this one didn't end with a "you're welcome":

There ya have it. No harm, no foul really. This is what the kids apparently love, so good on Bubba for attempting to reach that audience. But, as with literally anything that's posted on the internet, there was always going to be haters. One of those haters was former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel, who was having absolutely NONE of Bubba's dance moves. Here's Johnny Football's comment on the popular PGA Memes Instagram account, which reposted the video:

Dang, Johnny, that's not nice. You'd think a guy who made a living off of the touchdown dance du jour in college would not only appreciate Bubba's content hustle, but respect it. That does not appear to be the case.

In case you're wondering what Manziel is up to, he's not just scrolling the 'gram and hating. Two days ago, the Money man arrived for his first day of the "Fan-controlled" Football league, which is set to begin next week. Who wants to bet that league starts a Tik Tok account and Manziel ends up as the face of it? That's the only way this ends.
