'It's not a major'

Miguel Angel Jimenez is one of three European Tour players who are qualified to play in the Players Championship this week, yet are forgoing the opportunity. Why?

"It's not a major," Jimenez told the Scotsman.

So much for the fifth major campaign.

Lee Westwood and Alvaro Quiros are the others who aren't making the trek to the U.S. Westwood, like Jimenez, is simply resting, while Quiros is playing in the Italian Open.
