'How can you underachieve being No. 2?'

March 05, 2009

So said Camilo Villegas in reaction to a question as to whether Sergio Garcia has been an underachiever. Good point. In the era of Tiger Woods, No. 2 in the world is the highest rank to which anyone realistically can aspire, barring a Woods' swing change or injury.

"We've got one guy out there who makes us look like (junk)," Villegas said. "He's so good and it's fun to follow him and learn from him and be part of golf when he's playing, but No. 2 in the world? I'll take it any day."
