Payday at Tiburon
Here's the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2024 LPGA CME Group Tour Championship

Thailand’s Jeeno Thitikul, the winner by one shot over Angel Yin on Sunday of the CME Group Tour Championship, is taking home a $4 million first-place prize money payout. We’ll let that wash over everybody for a minute.
And now we’ll try to put it in context. Only three times in LPGA history has a player made $4 million in an entire season: Lorena Ochoa in 2007 ($4.36 million), Lydia Ko in 2022 ($4.364 million) and Nelly Korda in 2024 ($4.164 million entering the week). Korda joined the list thanks to winning seven tournament titles, the most in a year by an LPGA player since Inbee Park won six in 2013.
Suffice it to say, the payday at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla., as the LPGA concluded its 2024 season is life-changing. Thitikul had earned $5.8 million in her career on the LPGA prior to this week, with three wins to her credit at just age 21.
Thitikul hung around Sunday despite it looking like Yin was going to take the top prize, the American holding the lead for much of the back nine. But Thitikul made an eagle on the par-5 17th hole to tie Yin when she could only make par. Then on the 18th hole, Thitikul, one of the game’s top ball-strikers, hit her approach to five feet. Yin had a 22-footer for birdie that just burned the right edge of the hole, allowing Thitikul to pull out the title when she converted her putt
Thitkul’s Sunday 65 gave her a 22-under 266.

It's not just the winner that will grab an impressive payday. Yin earned $1 million for her second place finish and last place still garnered $55,000 with the overall purse being $11 million. Indeed, the rewards for playing your way into this season-ending event were commensurate with the achievement.
