The senior equaled his best 18-hole college round not once but twice last week, shooting a 65 in the first and final rounds at the Cardinal Intercollegiate, en route to shooting a 16-under 200 and claiming medalist honors. The Manchester, Ky., native's performance at the Cardinal Club near Louisville was four strokes better than runner-up Robert Streb of Kansas State and more than 20 strokes better than the tournament average.
