Fantasy Podcast: Will Jordan Spieth get back on track at his hometown event?

Jordan Spieth followed his back-nine Masters collapse with a missed cut at the Players. He described losing head-to-head to Jason Day the first two rounds by 14 strokes as "getting shellacked," and now has more missed cuts (two) than top 10s since his win at Kapalua to kick off 2016. So... what should you make of his chances at his hometown event, this week's AT&T Byron Nelson? Joel Beall and I discuss the World No. 3 and break down the field at TPC Four Seasons. Have a listen:

And if you're more old-school and would rather just read my normal weekly picks, here's who I'm taking on my PGA Tour Fantasy Golf team in Dallas:

Jordan Spieth: Look, the guy contended here when he was 16! Forget about his "rough" stretch, Spieth is the class of a watered-down field this week and he's itching to play well after that missed cut at TPC Sawgrass. Also, his short-game looks sharp. Check out this trick shot he pulled off with a marshmallow:

Charley Hoffman: Like Spieth, Hoffman is coming off missing the cut by one at the Players, but his play since March -- plus his track record at TPC Four Seasons -- is too much to overlook. Hoffman, who just won in Texas at the Valero last month, has four top 10s at the Nelson, including a runner-up last year.

Charles Howell III: CH3 has been doing CH3 things this season, quietly making more than $1.5 million. I'm expecting another nice check this week at a place where he has finished in the top 20 for five straight years, including a T-3 in 2014.

Scott Piercy: Another consistent performer, Piercy has eight top 25s this season, including a T-23 at the Players. Sadly, he led the way for the Masters of None at TPC Sawgrass (notice how I haven't been bragging about my fantasy squad like normal?), and I'm counting on an even better finish this week.

__ Bench:__ Matt Kuchar and Ryan Palmer.
