European Challenge Tour event delayed three hours because vandals destroyed greens
The first round of the Challenge Tour's -- the European Tour's developmental tour -- Cordon Open in France was delayed for three hours because vandals destroyed six greens at the event's venue, Golf Blue Green de Planeuf de Val Andre.
Shocking, indeed. After hard work by the course's grounds crew, the tournament finally got underway, much to delight of the players:
