Down one chin and a barrel of fat

That's what Swedish golfer Carl Pettersson has dropped in his weight-loss program, according to Derek Lawrenson of the Daily Mail.

Here's how Lawrenson described Pettersson pre-diet: "He's the one with three chins and about six inches of lard round his waist."

Lawrenson also took a swipe at Anthony Kim, who when asked his thoughts on Colin Montgomerie as the European Ryder Cup captain, replied, "Oh, really? I didn't know Colin had been made captain. I don't follow golf that much."

"Right before our eyes," Lawrenson wrote, "the American poster boy turns into the American idiot."
