Past Masters champion selling $4.7 million Colorado mansion, complete with insane wine cellar

Craig Stadler doesn't play much competitve golf anymore. Outside of the Masters par 3 contest, which likely won't be held this year doe to COVID-19, we rarely see the 1982 Masters champion. He played in his last Masters in 2014, and hasn't teed it up on the PGA Tour Champions in two and a half years.

His absence makes a ton of sense when you consider where he's been happily enjoying the retired life, in his incredible mansion in Evergreen, Colorado. Why would you ever feel the need to leave this place for "work" if you don't have to?

Apparently, Stadler is leaving the "Upper Bear Creek Ranch" mansion, putting it up for sale at a cool $4.7 million. From the outside, it looks incredible, but it's what's inside that's truly awe-inspiring. These are some of the features, from Stadler's realtor:

"Some of the many features of this extraordinary 10,469 square foot, 6 bedroom, 9 bathroom, property are: 8.7 sprawling acres, 4100+bottle capacity wine cellar, gourmet kitchen, a beautiful water feature that can be heard from the master bedroom, butler’s pantry, a full house generator, 8 person hot tub, library, office, large master suite, four indoor fireplaces, built-in Wolf BBQ, a stand-alone wood burning Argentine Asado BBQ, an outdoor stand-alone pizza oven, fire-pit, 10×24 Tuff Shed, hand hewn cherry hardwood floors, large windows with remote blinds, snow-capped mountain views, a gated courtyard with under surface heating, patios and an extensive veranda, bar, a nanny suite, and a wonderful guest house with walk out patio. Welcome to your final destination!"

Everybody needs a nanny suite, am I right?

The full house tour on Zillow is well worth your time, but we picked out some of our favorite shots from the house, starting with the wine cellar, which looks downright incredible:

The "Masters" bedroom. Get it?

The spacious basement:

The office, which obviously has a gigantic walrus tusk on the desk:

The outdoor area:

Looks like an OK spot to live, in our opinion.
