Collegians heading to Asian Amateur
The second edition of the Asian Amateur Championship is set for Oct. 7-10 at Kasumigaseki CC's West Course in Saitama, Japan, and the list of participants was released today. The winner will once again receive an invitation to the Masters next April while the winner and runner-up will be exempt into the final international qualifying for the British Open in 2011.
A look at the preliminary field includes a handful of golfers who will be competing for U.S. colleges this fall. Here is an early look at some names that might be familiar:
