I'm not exactly sure how Alan Bratton could have gotten off to a better start to his career as head coach of the women's golf team at Oklahoma State than what's taken place the last few weeks. Two tournaments—the Dale McNamara Invitational and the Windy City Collegiate—two victories in different, confidence-boosting fashions have allowed the former Cowboy All-American to settle in with a team that included just one senior, three transfers and a fair number of questions starting the 2011-12 season.

In this week's podcast, I caught up with Bratton and learned about his mindset in taking over the program, along with the quick transition that has created a genuinely positive vibe among the Cowgirl roster.
