With the first tee time of the morning on Saturday, anyone else would've played himself out of the spotlight at the Masters. Unless, that is, you're a two-time winner like Bubba Watson and one of the most popular figures at Augusta National.
It was hard not to chuckle when reading about this back-and-forth Watson had with a patron at the 10th hole on Saturday, according to Roy Lang III in USA Today:
"Can you back up, you’re really not supposed to be back here,” Watson asked to the spectator.
“Neither is your ball,” the fan replied.
“I don’t know about you, but I have two green jackets,” Watson said playfully, having fun with the crowd before he pitched back into the fairway. “Thanks for coming.” You can read the full report on Bubba's round with Augusta National marker Jeff Knox here.
Sounds like Bubba being Bubba. He's not one to fully tune out all noise around him.
Thanks for always keeping it interesting, Bubba.
