Tiger Woods contributed to his own cause at his annual Tiger Jam in Las Vegas last weekend by paying $50,000 for an autographed guitar from rock legend Bruce Springsteen that was offered in the event's auction.

More than $1 million was raised in the 12th edition of Tiger Jam, the money going to support the Tiger Woods Foundation. The entertainment was provided by the musical group No Doubt, with Gwen Stefani, who used the occasion to launch the band's first world tour in five years.

Among those in attendance were Fred Couples, John Cook, Mark O'Meara, Nick Watney and Hank Haney

Also auctioned off were two pro-am spots in the Chevron World Challenge and private putting lessons from Woods that went for $50,000 apiece.
