Augusta National Golf Club, taking care of business in a remarkably efficient manner
We won’t suggest that the government would run more efficiently were the Augusta National Golf Club hierarchy in charge, so let’s just stipulate that Chairman Billy Payne and Co. know how to get things done.
Below is an aerial view of the new media center at Augusta National, constructed at the end of the practice facility there. Remarkably, this project did not begin until after the Masters ended in mid-April, little more than six months ago.
And when Augusta National wants to plant a new tree, it doesn’t begin with a seedling meticulously cared for by the superintendent. It plants a fully grown tree.
