A hole-in-one from Tyrrell Hatton actually produced, wait for it … a smile

It happened. It really happened.
Tyrrell Hatton, the often-grumpy Englishman known for hilarious antics and bits of fury on the golf course, actually smiled. It took a hole-in-one for it to happen, but it happened.
Watch here below, as Hatton dunks one on the par-3, 164-yard sixth hole Saturday at Bolingbrook Golf Club during the second round of LIV Golf Chicago. He was one under par at the time—through 12 holes—with three birdies and two bogeys. It was the eighth ace in the three-year history of the league.
The ace got Hatton back to even par overall for the tournament and was in a tie for 18th place, several shots off the lead.
Among Hatton’s most recent viral moments came just two months ago at the British Open when he hit a tee shot on the 12th hole that he deemed do bad he made himself carry his own golf bag on the hole.
In June he had some funny things to say about an airline carrier that left his golf clubs on the wrong continent. Here’s another where he discussed what he bought with his first winner’s check.
You get the point. Never change, Tyrrell. Never change.
