7 juicy parings to watch for during the 2015 Masters

Pairings for the first two days of the 2015 Masters were released on Tuesday. Here's a quick run-through of the ones to keep your eye on:

Group 8, 9:02 a.m. EDT: Patrick Reed, Keegan Bradley, Ian Poulter

The opposing Ryder Cup dynamos, Ian Poulter and Patrick Reed, will make for some good viewing as each try to win their first major, Reed in the same town where he went to college. Bradley has won a major and his game seems to suit Augusta National, although his recent results in the tournament would suggest otherwise. - Luke Kerr-Dineen

Group 11, 9:35 a.m. EDT: Adam Scott, Dustin Johnson, Antonio Murdaca (a)

Adam Scott says winning majors now is his number one priority, so he'll be eager to add another green jacket to his closet. Dustin Johnson, meanwhile, remains major-less but is probably playing the best golf of his career so far this season, and his power-hitting game seems to favor Augusta National's layout. - LKD

Group 32, 1:48 p.m. EDT: Tiger Woods, Jamie Donaldson, Jimmy Walker

We wouldn't exactly call this a marquee group, but it'll surely have one of the biggest crowds of the afternoon. It seems like Augusta National has paired a bunch of opposing Ryder Cup opponents in its pairings. (Reed/Bradley and Poulter, Bubba and Rose, Rickie and Sergio, etc.) U.S. fans will remember Donaldson as the European player who clinched the winning points at Gleneagles last year. - SH

Group 33, 1:59 p.m. EDT: Jason Day, Sergio Garcia, Rickie Fowler

All three have been knocking on the doorsteps of major championships -- Sergio Garcia for many more years than Rickie (26) or Day (27). But they have six top-10 finishes between the three of them (Sergio: 3, Day: 2, Rickie: 1). - SH
