The Winner's Bag

January 10, 2010

For the second consecutive year, Geoff Ogilvy won the season-opening event in Kapalua, Hawaii, using a driver for the first time in competition as the Aussie used a 9.5-degree Titleist 909 D3 at the SBS Championship. Ogilvy, who is new to the Titleist tour staff this season, noted he had just put the club in the bag on Tuesday. Also useful was a Cobra S9-1 5-wood -- an 18-degree club that Ogilvy had bent to 20 degrees.
