When engineering this shoe, Ecco didn't want to compromise on the comfort and all-weather play they're known for, all while making a super-lightweight shoe. They did this by using a new foam in the sole. (Fluidform.... is it injected into the sole?) It's lightweight and soft underfoot, giving you good energy return as you walk.
