The last time the New York Knicks were in the NBA Finals, a familiar face was in attendance.

One of the hallmarks of any huge Knicks game, past or present, is the camera shots of all the celebrities in attendance. These days it's Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, Fat Joe and Ben Stiller. Back in 1999, when the Knicks took on the San Antonio Spurs in the Finals (which might eerily happen again this year), it was Evander Holyfield, James Caan and ... Ben Stiller again (real fan!). This viral clip playing on that nostalgia that was posted to X/Twitter on Monday, not long after the Knicks clinched the Eastern Conference, also shows another legendary figure at the 19-second mark:

Tiger Woods at the peak of his powers, and they got him in the nosebleeds. Must have been one HOT ticket. Game 3 and 4 for the 2026 NBA Finals might be the hottest tickets of all time, so hot that it sounds like the POTUS might be in attendance. As for Woods, well, he's got a lot going on right now, but nobody would be mad to see him make an MSG return 27 years later.
