Over the last few years, the Masters has been a ball-striking fest, as indicated by the stats of recent winners. Consider this: The last five Masters champions have either finished first or second in strokes gained/tee-to-green, while only one (Scheffler in 2022) has finished inside the top 20 on the greens.
Oh, by the way, co-leader Rory McIlroy leads the PGA Tour in strokes gained/tee-to-green this season.
