David Lipsky wasn’t able to grab his first PGA Tour win at the Valspar Championship.
But he did bag his largest paycheck as a pro. Lipsky earned $991,000, eclipsing the $654,000 he won for his runner-up at the 2024 Procore Championship. Key to his success was his L.A.B. Oz.1 mallet, one of the putters that effectively started the zero-torque putter craze. For the week Lipsky ranked eighth in strokes gained/putting and sixth in feet of putts made, mirroring his success on the greens to date. With his L.A.B. in hand Lipsky leads the tour in putts per round at 27.33 and is sixth in strokes gained. Talk about a money club.
