Brandt Snedeker did a walking interview on Golf Channel Thursday

during the first round of the Charles Schwab Challenge but he was three over at the time. After the interview he hit an approach on the 12th hole to just inside 50 feet and drained that for only his second birdie of the day. A bit later, play was halted because of weather.

When play resumed late at Colonial Country Club, with hardly anyone watching, Snedeker stood on the par-3 16th tee two over and only needed one shot to finish the hole, recording an ace when his ball flew into the hole on the fly from 181 yards. Slam dunk. That got him back to even par, where he ended the round after closing with two more pars.
