Review

“A great short course that provides mini versions of template holes. Biarritz, Redan, Double Plateau, etc are all there as the design was well thought out. For some extra fun, an extra shovel in the ground marks a putting course option start to each hole. Food, service, and lodging (and even grass tennis courts) provides for an awesome resort!"

“I'm a sucker for a short course (either as a follow up to a full round in the morning or a night time arrival activity). This short course boasts 17 holes all shorter than 100 yards (with the exception of one full length par 3). With carry bags and a bar on site this is a blast for the casual golf activity while staying on premises."

“As fun of a short course experience as it is possible to have. The course sits on relatively uninteresting inland property, but a group of golfers could go around it 10 times in a day."

“The day I played the Sandbox the longest hole was 132 yards. The yardage on the scorecard measures 1,652. The tee boxes are moved daily to change the distances of the holes. Am extremely fun par 3 seventeen hole facility. The greens are heavily sloped so you need to carefully place your tee shot."

“People seem to fawn over the Sandbox but I don't love it like other people. I've played it three times now and it's much more fun to play as a team with at least one partner. We played fivesomes which was great so you could just pick up if your ball wasn't needed on that hole. An Alternate Shot format was fun too. The one time I played my own ball I lost interest as you can get into nasty spots."
