“Ironwood is among the quirkier courses you will likely play. Some of the par 4s are easily reached with driver (or less). There is a par 5 where you need to hit iron off the tee so your ball does not carom into the woods, and a par 4 where your tee shots ends up between two hills and the approach shot is about a 3-club climb. On some greens, being above the hole leaves a virtually impossible putt. Unfortunately, the oddball holes outnumber the good ones, and the walk is spoiled by some truly cardiac-challenging climbs."

“This former private club is located just off Interstate 81. It is fun and you can score well. The par fours are not long but are interesting. The clubhouse reflects the hard times on which this club has fallen but the course normally is in fine condition."
