The Rawls Course at Texas Tech

This was Tom Doak's first project after completing Pacfiic Dunes at Bandon Dunes Resort. The Red Raider course was created from a flat cotton field, but Doak's team transformed the land by moving 1.3 million yards of topsoil to create a stunning setting with incredible movement and natural-looking features. The result is one of the top university golf courses in the country.
