Review
“Even with property size limitations, Belle Meade’s layout did not have any limitations as it varied with short, medium and long par 3s, 4s, and 5s. The routing used the natural landscape as it was designed specifically the creek that was involved throughout most of the front nine making good use of a natural hazard. The fairways were firm and fast, although the runoff areas around the greens were not shaved, allowing for slightly wayward approach shots to remain on the fringe instead of falling off into collection areas."

“An old Donald Ross touched up by Rees Jones. The course sits on a small piece of property but makes the most of it. The 4th and 5th holes are 2 of the more unique out there and hard to imagine being built the way they were on the property with the ridge line."
