“This is a well designed golf course that has plenty of character - the course does not get a great deal of play due to where it is located between Saluda and Johnston - consequently the conditioning of the golf course is not that good - yet it has some of the best designed golf holes that you cant find on highly rated golf courses. Numbers 8 and 11 are exceptional par 5 golf holes while hole number 5 is a very good short par 4 golf hole. Numbers 15 a par 3 and number 16 a very good dogleg right par 4 are also exceptional golf holes. Number 1 is a well designed par 4 to start the back nine with a small green and bunkers everywhere around the green; number 12 is a difficult and long par 4. If this golf course got the play and funding for proper conditioning, it could be a great golf course."
