“Chechesee Creek is an excellent minimalist Coore-Crenshaw design located near Hilton Head SC. One of the more relaxing and natural courses I've seen, this course winds through the lowlands with an excellent layout. Relatively straightforward tee to green, Chechesee gets very difficult when you start missing these elevated greens and are left intimidating up-and-downs. This is also an excellent place to hang after golf with its own signature cocktail - the "Creek Tea."

“If you get a chance to play here jump on the opportunity. Make sure you get a caddie though because the greens are very small and very hard to read."

“Really cool club! Great Coore/Crenshaw course with solid caddies. Walking only, but a good walking course. Great food and drinks at a place you could hang out all day."

“This is a great private retreat in the low country. The clubhouse and surrounds are understated but elegant. I love the routing and look of the course. For a Coore/Crenshaw course, I found the greens lacking in interest. They tended to be too flat."

“Classy, low-key club. The course doesn't have a lot of wow moments, but the greens are the star here."
