“Beautiful treelined golf course with a good mix of long and short holes. This course has a variety of uphill and downhill holes that follow the natural slope of the existing terrain. The greens were very undulating and were all sloped back to front. Approximately half the greens/pins can be accessed by running the ball up, while the other half are elevated and tucked in behind greenside bunkers. Many of the greens have false fronts. There are a couple of extreme doglegs, otherwise, the holes all have a gentle flow to one side or the other. Many bunkers and water hazards to maneuver during the round. "

“Original Tillinghast design with Rees Jones remodel in 2011. 7000 yard par 70 with tree lined fairways which put a emphasis on driving the ball straight. If you did find the trees, most holes allowed a punch run up shot to get on a portion of the green. Good variety of short and long holes. Short holes had green design the emphasis accuracy with the 2nd shot. While the longer par 3 and 4s allowed for shots to feed onto the green towards the flag. Very fun course to play with a very traditional feel."
