“This is a wonderful old school course in the middle of a well populated part of Louisville. The course is well hidden from the main road. When you turn into the entrance and get past the condos the course opens up and you are in a little private spot with wonderful old trees. Standard has one of the best practice areas in Louisville. The chipping area allows for all shots and the driving range is massive with new grass.
The course is my favorite kind of course. It has great zoysia fairways that go back and forth with tee boxes not very far from the greens. The fairways are framed well with big trees and the greens are a good size and well maintained. There are number of beautiful doglegs on the course and water in areas that make for demanding strategic shots. The fourth and sixteenth holes are some of the best you can play. I think this is one of the hidden gems in Louisville. If you can play it, you will love it."
