“Incredibly beautiful setting right up against the Koolau mountains, and each hole presents a fresh challenge. The course has the potential to provide sensory overload; some think it is too severe, but I loved it."

“Ko'olau holds a special place for me, since it was the round where I completed playing golf in all 50 states. It is completely jungle golf -- either hit the fairway or grab a new ball. I considered it a great success that I only lost 4! I wouldn't want a steady diet of that, but it is so unique that I loved playing it once. Unfortunately, the conditions weren't always great due to the amount of rain on that part of the island, so the lack of play led to it closing in September 2020. I think the front nine is being maintained for now. I'm glad I got a chance to visit -- Jurassic golf was a great experience! The views were also amazing."

Difficulty aside, the views are spectacular and the course is well run, but it is unlikely that most will enjoy the overall experience."
