Overview
David McLay Kidd transformed an existing, tight 18-hole course when a new owner purchased more land to allow Kidd to create a new routing. A massive quarry was filled and trees were removed to create expansive views of Los Angeles on this course just south of downtown.

“Course Architect-David McLay Kidd, 2017. Wide open, links style course with very large greens and surrounds. Top notch course conditioning and amenities."

Review
“David McLay Kidd has produced a design masterpiece. The course presentation hole-by-hole is outstanding, no two holes remotely alike, yet they blend together by the use of parallel elements to provide a wonderful golf experience for almost every level of player. The two issues for some are the depth of bunkers for the higher handicap player and the very wide landing areas for the low handicappers. The latter is balanced by the need to play proper angles into greens to get the ball close to hole placements."
