Situated in the southeast corner of Alabama in Dothan, Highland Oaks offers three nine-hole layouts (as well as a par-3 course) that can be played in a variety of combinations. The Highlands nine is a parkland design with strategic bunkering and water lurking on four holes. The two par 3s are especially demanding with water in play on both, including at the fourth where a lake surrounds the front and left side of the green, making left pins play tough. Appropriately named, Magnolia trees frame the holes on its namesake nine. Easier than the Highlands, the Magnolia has water in play on just one hole, offers wide landing areas and features large undulating greens.
