“This has the most convoluted routing I have ever seen. You need a map just to find the next hole. I think the Nicklaus design team routed it blindfolded. The holes themselves are fun and the back nine has some doglegs that make the player think. The par threes are the strength of the course. Unfortunately, the conditioning is poor. The welcome is grand and lunch in the Tavern is great."

“Valley of the Eagles is really about the experience and being able to play golf in a remote area of Alaska. The setting is stunning, the routing is pretty decent, and the turf greens are amusing and quite firm! I enjoyed it and the hosts couldn't be more welcoming."
