This is among the most forgiving wedges I hit. Even my worst mis-hits were within a tight bucket. It's like a magic wand through the grass. No skulls or chunks.
Performs exactly like a wedge should. If I wanted to hit a high shot that landed softly, I could do that. A low roller? No problem. Produces pin-seeking, low, spinning shots. The more skilled the player, the more versatile it's likely to play.
Turf interaction was very good. It just kept cutting through the ground. Easy to hit around the green with plenty of spin from the bunker.
Felt comfortable over every shot. Pitches were money. Didn't dig or get snagged by Bermudagrass. Predictable check out of the sand. Higher launching but not crazy spinny.
Nice, sleek wedges. Ball jumps off the face. Easy to generate spin on full and short shots. Around the green, I could make it check up or land very soft.
Spins a ton off the face, yet what's amazing is that it doesn't float up into the air and get away from you. An elite short-sided wedge. Feels much lighter in the head than most wedges and responds quickly to whatever you're doing with your hands.
Excels around the green, especially on short, spinny chip shots. Performed well out of the sand and on flop shots, too. Consistently reliable distance control.
Clubface caresses the ball. Soft, spinny. Left it begging to go in the hole. Long, powerful flight on full shots.
Weight translates perfectly to every shot. Very consistent: Only one of 10 full shots I hit were pushed to the right. Everything else would have been 15 feet from the flag. I love the feeling of security it gives me.
Terrific feedback on full shots; sound is very forged blade-like. Plenty of forgiveness, too. Greenside shots were incredibly easy to hit. Very intuitive spin and distance control.
Very good around the greens. Clubhead flew through the grass effortlessly. Easy to hit high, soft shots.
Performance wise, it didn't do anything great but did everything really well. Easy to hit the center of the face and hold the green. Performed really well and predictable from the rough with feeling of additional weight behind the face.
Elegant, sleek club. Thin profile gives me the confidence to attack the ball. Distance was longer on full swings than I would expect from a wedge. Allows for different kinds of shots around the green while inspiring the confidence to try more advanced shots. Pure magic out of the bunker.
Felt more like a players wedge—you had to be pretty perfect to hit the sweet spot. When you hit it in the center, it performed great. Very nippy and easy to spin out of the rough, which was a pleasant surprise. Harder to hit a bump and run because it produced so much spin.
Among my favorite wedges. Plays as beautiful as it looks. I was able to dial in any yardage I needed from the fairway, and hit a high, soft approach. Glides through the turf and the sand.
Gunmetal finish increases cool factor. Goes through dirt easily on full shots with better-than-average distance and spin. Carves the sand just like a pumpkin. Really good turf interaction on chips and pitches.
Around the green, the higher the ball flight, the more effective it was. I could get it to stop on a dime. The same held true out of the bunker.
Butter out of the bunker. It cut through the sand effortlessly and was able to generate a bit more spin. I was able to control the height out of the sand as well. Versatile performer around the greens—just bounced off the turf with great comfort.
It's a stock, set-it-and-forget-it club. Low stress, just how golfers like it. It's not really a flop shot club. Open it up and that leading edge is an unwanted visitor.
Very smooth through the turf. Spin and distance control are perfectly connected and make it easy to dial in your number. Round shape and perfectly balanced weighting inspire lots of confidence.
Heel performance was exceptional. Overall, I felt like I could close my eyes and trust where the ball was going with this club.
If you like hit to low shots, this club is a great option. Around the green, balls launched quite low and came out with a lot of spin. I liked having a lower bounce option, which allowed me to open the face and hit different types of shots. Plenty of milling on the face to provide spin.
I like the sole design. It has a little bit of curve to it and feels like it would be easy to get through the ground. A little higher ball flight than my regular wedges, but didn't impact distance. I was able to cut through the sand with ease and get good spin.
I was throwing darts out of the bunker—the ball stopped and stuck to the green quickly. It was like I had fine grit sandpaper on the face the way it was grabbing the ball. Very easy to get the flight and spin I needed.
I like having a few different grind options to suit various playing conditions. The right bounce makes all the difference and these have options. Never any risk of digging this club.
Great combo of soft feel and launch. The ball really jumps off the face. High flying, long distance. Different bounce options is crucial. I felt like I could be aggressive without having fear of digging into the turf.
Super, well-behaved club all around. You can run it out and spin it on demand. Silky smooth out of the sand. On longer shots, it’s like Velcro when you stick it in the ground, but it's incredibly reliable out of the bunker and versatile around the greens.
A lot of different grind options, which I like. Felt like I could open the face almost all the way on any shot with total confidence. Easy to use in the sand. Club slides through the sand nicely.
Very versatile from the short grass, rough and sand. Easy to play different-length shots. On the lower side of spin but forgiving off the face.
I liked how forgiving the leading edge and bounce were hitting different types of shots around the green. Very soft feel coming out of the sand. I could hit a runner or spin it whenever I wanted to do from the bunker.
