Why We Like It
- These custom milled putters are made from 303 stainless steel and target players with repeatable strokes who are high attuned to feel.
- The two models feature similar toe hangs ideal for players with moderate face rotation in their strokes.
- The Brandon model has a more rounded head, and the Brandon II is squared off.
- A shallow fly-cut face milling creates the response preferred by PXG’s tour staff.
- Heel and toe weights on the sole make it easy for players to adjust the overall weight to meet swingweight preferences.
- A 38-inch shaft option with a heavier head weight is available for those looking for a counterbalanced putter.
- Top 5 in Look, high-handicaps
- Models: Brandon, Brandon II. Head weights: 345-380 grams. Lengths: 33-38 inches. Loft: 3 degrees.

Fire emoji. This putter is lit. Sets up nicely behind the ball, has great weight and is super-balanced. Amazing feel. Putter did all the work for me.

Milled head delivers good performance. Responsive feeling off the face—a little hot at first, but easy to dial in and figure out.

The gray finish works well with the black alignment line. It's paired with a grip that seemingly fits in your hands comfortably. Super confident putter from six feet and in. A little less so on longer putts but they rolled out well, so the forgiveness is there.

Alignment is not obvious because of the darker color, but it was easy to square up. Even though the head isn't heavy, it gets through the ball very easily. Not hard to get the ball to the hole on lag putts.

Classic blade, but with modern-day technology. Design, grip and shaft materials all lend to strong performance. Great speed control and enhanced feel.

A very simple, understated appearance. Incredibly responsive from the first putt. Seemed to do exactly what I wanted. No surprises in how it lines you up and the ball comes off the face. If you get the line and speed correct, this will deliver.

The shaft allows you to really feel the strike; it almost flexes a little bit at impact. The sensory feedback definitely helps control distance on long putts.

I could feel a little bit of a reverb in my hands with this putter. You almost feel the shaft shake after you hit it. It does have a really nice pop to it in the center of the face. The finish is really cool. It's a different type of silver. I've never seen it before, and i hope I see more of it.

It's got a good look to it. The bottom is a little eclectic for my liking, but I do like the milling going through the logo on the face. Putter rolls the ball extremely well. You can really feel the head release with the lighter feel. Simple to adjust from short to long putts.

Face is just thin enough that I had difficulty controlling speed. I would leave several short, then overcompensate and blow one way past the hole. Felt like the grip and size of the putter were forcing me to change my stroke instead of working for me.

I really like the appearance and the matte dark gray finish. On the bottom, the skull badging is a fun conversation piece. While this is a relative small package, it packs plenty of wallop, with a lot of juice on longer putts. I had some fear of bombing it way past the hole. On short putts, it was light, but stable enough to promote a confident stroke.

A little heavier for a blade. The black/gray finish is appealing. A bit of a clickier sound at impact, even in the middle of the face. If you like that sound, it doesn't lose much on the toe or heel and, with a good strike, it rolls pretty true.

I like the gunmetal gray finish against the black. Looks really sharp. The smaller pistol grip is nice and feels stable in my hands. I had a good connection with it. Putter has a little more weight than the Anser, so I didn't have to force the ball to the hole. Distance control was right there on longer putts.

The unique reverse plumber’s-neck hosel helps to shift the putter’s balance point between shaft and head to make it easier to square the face at impact.
The benefit of the hosel is that unlike other designs that reduce or eliminate torsional resistance, this version does not force the hands forward with an angled shaft.
Because the shaft is aligned with the head’s center of mass, the putter face stays square to the path of the stroke to eliminate unreliable hand action.

Compared to the single-piece milled versions in the company’s line, these models provide more forgiveness with a greater resilient face material.
The polymer material in the face, known as Pebax, is found in running shoes. It stretches the width of the face to provide a consistent energy transfer and soft feel.
The array of models accommodates strokes with a slight arc (Anser, Anser 2D, B63) and those with a stronger arc (Anser 4).

The stock heads are almost 20 grams heavier than standard models, shifting the club’s balance point lower and leading to more consistency in face rotation.
The extra mass in the head is counterbalanced with a lighter grip so that players can feel the head move naturally like a pendulum.
The increased head mass, along with heel and toe sole weights, adds stability on off-center hits for consistent rollout.
