Why We Like It
- The three models cater to two stroke types (straight on the #8C and a slight arc on the #1 and #8S).
- Models also feature different style grips depending on the stroke type, specifically an oversize pistol for quieting the hands on the straight-stroke putter and a classic pistol for ease of activating the arcing stroke.
- The dense milling pattern at the center of the face becomes looser toward the heel and toe so that mis-hits receive more energy at impact for consistency across the face.
- The milling pattern matches up with each head’s relative forgiveness on off-center hits to further optimize ball speed on heel, toe and center hits.
- The 35-inch models use a 20-gram counterbalance weight under the grip to maintain a similar swing feel as the 34-inch models.
- Top 5 in Performance, high-handicaps
- Models: #1, #8S, #8C. Head weights: 355, 365 grams. Lengths: 34, 35 inches. Loft: 3 degrees.

Cushiony but lively feeling to impact. I could just tap the ball on short putts and deliver the right amount of roll. Longer putts had more energy but same cushiony feeling.

I like that there are a few different lines to help you align the putter. Face mIlling gives it a real softness. Not too much variation in distance control. The grips work well to match up with my stroke.

I tried the center-shafted #8 first, but struggled on long putts. Hit the ground on my backstroke every time. Moved to the #1 and it did a really good job correcting that piece of my stroke.

Clean, contrasting lines make it easy to line up. Most of the weight is near the face, which helps put a smooth roll on the ball. Felt really good over must-make five-foot putts. Had lots of control on long putts.

For a putter that is a traditional blade look, it's got a shocking amount of weight in the head. It's very soft off the face, which makes it a scoring weapon on fast greens.

Ball rolls nicely, even on toe and heel hits. The milling on the face looks very high quality. There is a very distinct click at impact, which I really like.

Jin

The milling pattern is different across the face, leading to different feels and sounds. Center face is a muted click, while the toe and heel produce a high-pitched metallic sound. Ball rolled quickly off the face without bouncing or skidding much, maintained distance even on mis-hits.

Little bit larger tail on this, but it adds stability. I like the heft to it, as well. I don’t have to swing very hard. Just pick a line and it will get the ball there.

Two-tone shaft is a little distracting. Same color would've been better. Effortless putter in terms of my stroke. Easy to keep the face square to the stroke. Consistent end-over-end roll throughout the length of the putt. No skipping.

It plays more like a mallet than a blade, which I liked. It's on the firmer side, yet it was still super easy to gauge distance. You don't have to swing it back long, either—just make the appropriate-length stroke and it'll go.

It's a heavy putter. Works really well for a pendulum stroke, and is automatic inside 10 feet. On the other hand, it can get away from you on longer putts.

Jamie

Short putts had a nice, pleasing clip at impact. Longer putts got much louder and firmer, maybe due to the coarse milling pattern on the face. Nice, balanced feel during the stroke and classic look.

I like the black finish and milling pattern on the face. The size of the milling is interesting visually. Stable shaft helps mitigate larger misses but I think it needs more weight in the head to give it better sound and performance. It feels awfully light for a blade putter.

I like the intricate milling and deep grooves on the face. Impact is softer for sure—you can feel the ball wherever you hit it on the putterface. The sound changes wherever you hit it on the face, providing an immense amount of feedback. Putts roll end over end and maintain their line.

This putter is either the greatest value in all of golf, or the others are the biggest ripoffs. This feels like a $500 putter. Feels incredible. I couldn’t sense any vibration, no matter where on the face I contacted the ball. The ball rolls so nice. Checks all the boxes.

Overall, just a slightly above-average putter. The feel for distance was good but the line was often sporadic. I like the stability shaft, but it just didn't seem to work for me. The putter was a bit on the lighter side, too, which probably didn't help matters.

The unique reverse plumber’s-neck hosel helps to shift the putter’s balance point between shaft and head to make it easier to square the face at impact.
The benefit of the hosel is that unlike other designs that reduce or eliminate torsional resistance, this version does not force the hands forward with an angled shaft.
Because the shaft is aligned with the head’s center of mass, the putter face stays square to the path of the stroke to eliminate unreliable hand action.
