Our Review:

This is for the player who needs certainty and forgiveness more than an array of sole grinds and bounce options. It serves the dual role of providing a smooth transition from the short irons (with better spin) to full-service assistance with the short shots around the green and, thanks to a wider sole design, from the sand. The cavityback construction frees up the design to add perimeter weighting to raise the off-center hit stability so that mis-hits fly and feel more like center hits. Because of its size, it’s not a club I’d tend to pick up. But, man, this wedge really works out of any lie you can create.

  • low

This club just plain works out of any lie you can create. Easy to open up the face, easy to hit longer pitches, easy to put as much or as little spin a as as you want yet control it.
