Why We Like It
- The larger footprint of the two models uses a nanoalloy coating on the titanium face for better ball speeds, with an emphasis on forgiveness and a straight flight.
- The coating increases the strength and bending properties of the titanium at high-speed impacts to create better resilience than typical forged titanium.
- The increased resilience allows the face to deflect where the ball hits and in the surrounding area to store more of the ball’s energy for more potential speed.
- The coating allows the thickest parts of the titanium face to get nearly 10 percent thinner compared to previous models to expand the area that generates the highest ball speeds.
- A lightweight carbon-composite crown helps to lower the center of gravity for higher launch.
- Adjustable hosel tweaks loft by plus/minus 2 degrees for a range of 7 to 14 degrees.
- MOI rating: High
- Top 5 in Look, high-handicaps
- 9, 10.5, 12 degrees (with eight-way adjustable hosel)

Hot List testers noted the glossy blue carbon face and gradient-blue crown make framing effortless and gorgeous. It delivers a soft-yet-firm, springy feel with lively impact and very consistent, tight dispersion—easy to shape draws/fades and yields repeatable carry and penetrating ball flight. Top-end ball speed and a satisfying sensation at impact stood out. One caveat: mis-hits tended to generate higher spin and sacrificed distance.
Hot List panelists observed this driver’s striking blue face and pleasing look at address. It produces a controllable, straight ball flight favored by players who hit down the middle, and its higher-launch profile can boost carry for those needing more height. Adjustability is limited. One drawback: some hitters reported higher-than-desired spin that can leave distance on the table.
Hot List testers noted a striking glossy blue carbon crown and face that frames the ball beautifully and looks gorgeous. Across different contact points the driver held a narrow dispersion, delivered effortless, natural height, a lively, springy sound and a composite thump with a firmer feel. Testers praised tight shot control and easy draw/fade shaping, a player-oriented look with surprising forgiveness, though some found slightly higher spin and less top-end distance on mis-hits.
