The performance was there. It was easy to hit and I got good distance out of it. They've got something figured out here that's quite noticeable. The chrome head and brushed insert look great and it has tech, with some kind of slots in the sole of it. Not sure what's going on there, but it was definitely a performer.

Impressive blend of forgiveness and performance. An all-around gamer. I hit some incredible shots with this. It was easy to find the sweet spot. It produced a straight draw, my natural ball flight. I got pin-seeker after pin-seeker. It's got a nice, responsive characteristic to it. Rewards good shots in giving that "barely felt" contact in your hands.

Absolute hammery jump off the face. You hit these well, you get 10 extra yards. It looks simple, but it's quite elaborate on the back of the club—plenty of technology. These aren't good by accident.

The smooth, polished-chrome, rounded topline gives you confidence that there's a bigger sweet spot. I got a perfect pleasant crack at impact. It moves smoothly through the impact area and through the turf. Not overly high but plenty of distance.

There's a lot going on with the sole and those slots. They seem to help mute the sound. Overall, it is a good sound but the feel was a bit firmer, especially on mis-hits. Launched a little higher in the air and seemed hotter in the shorter clubs like the pitching wedge.

There was an extreme trampoline effect and it performed consistently. Hot and long. You lost a little with off-center hits, but the sweet spot was bouncing.

Center-strike hits felt really good. Mis-hits were obvious but it was somewhat forgiving as far as dispersion goes. Still, I think this is for someone who wants to take advantage of game-improvement technology and can hit in center of the club most of the time.

You don’t have to swing hard or easy and the ball jumps off the face. I know it’s easy to get in the air, so I can take it easy on transition and make things happen. I can still get good numbers feeling kind of tired. Classic look, too. Just big enough to suggest forgiveness.

I love this club. It just performs for you. It’s one of those underdogs that will surprise anyone who picks it up and gives it a chance. It can literally drop strokes in a handicap. It has the distance, power, workability and forgiveness that most average golfers really need in a club.

Everything is larger with this club, but it's very loud and very powerful off the face. Definitely soft in the center of the clubface, but it gets firmer outside the sweet spot. It's nice—you can only really feel it in your hands when you hit a bad shot. My dispersion pattern was good. They are quite accurate and have a draw tendency, which is nice for someone like me who hits a cut.

What really sticks out is the forgiveness. I got long, great turf interaction. It never dug or tugged. I got a straight ball 90 percent of the time. I almost had to try to miss.

A little game-improvement look with the offset and wider sole. There's a bit of a disconnect between your hands and the clubhead, like the head is not part of the shaft at impact. That's a weird feeling for me.

I really like the chrome finish but dislike the three black lines on the bottom of each club. It feels overdone. There's a real penetrating ball flight through the wind, but shots still climbed to desired heights when asked. There's a purposeful punch of distance and an extra gear awaits if you want it.

Distance was very good with this club. Seemed to have some workability, too. It was not hard to hit a draw with it. Slightly hard feel on hands. I expected to have a better experience with feel. The forgiveness is good. It flies pretty straight. For a players-distance set, you want distance, and this definitely gives it to you.

If you're someone who scoops the ball, this is a great club for you, just because the way the head is slightly on the bulkier side. It will help you get the ball up in the air. Not for a divot taker but good for a picker.

Very much looks, feels and produces like a game-improvement iron with high launch and long distance. These felt very light, so it was easy to lose the feel of the swing. The strong offset brought a strong left tendency to it.

I really like the shiny chrome finish. It looks like new tech but isn't overdone. Loved the weight of it in my hands, too. It had a really good launch. I started to try to shape the ball and found that I could work it pretty easily.

The highly reflective chrome finish on the face doesn't suit me. I understand it's a matter of taste and it is distinctive. The sound was crisp and powerful and that matched a pleasant feel. No matter what I did hitting anywhere across the face, the ball would reach an above-average apex. That translated into very nice carry distances.

It's a really good-looking, well-proportioned head that sits perfectly behind the ball and frames it well. These provide a consistently low-to-mid-trajectory-draw ball flight. I was unable to create anything else with the middle and long irons. Moves through the turf with ease, which made for very consistent wedge play.

This is gonna be my new gamer. Love this club. Pretty club to look down at. I got great distance and it was forgiving, especially in the long irons. I got a nice high launch.
