What's In My Bag: Johnson Wagner\nAge:32 | Resides: Charlotte | Story: Won this year's Sony Open for his third PGA Tour title. Followed it with a T-2 the next week at Humana.\nPIES TO THE FACE\n\n Two weeks before Lucas Glover won the U.S. Open in 2009, he and I were playing a practice round at Memorial when my caddie asked, "Why don't more players get a cream pie to the face after they win, like baseball players?" Lucas seemed to agree. So the week after he won the U.S. Open, when his name was announced at the Travelers Championship pro-am, I came out and smashed a shaving-cream pie in his face. He said it stung his eyes all day.\nA WINDING ROAD\n\n There are different paths to get out here. I spent four years on the Nationwide Tour, and it's coming along for me now. Never give up on your dream. Look at Zach Johnson: He went from a little-known college player to a Masters champion in his fourth year. It doesn't matter what you've done in the past -- just go out and shoot a low round.\nDIRECTIONAL MARK\n\n I mark my Titleist Pro V1x with just one dot, and it's always two dimples north of the middle of the Titleist. This has mostly been a black-dot year, but I've used a green dot, too.\nMORE THAN YARDS\n\n This yardage book is from my first Masters, in 2008. I jot down notes and thoughts in it. It became more of a journal than just a yardage book.\nFEAR THE 'STACHE\n\n When I got home after the season ended, I didn't shave. I didn't have much to do, so I let it grow. Then I got the reaction I wanted out of my wife. (She was disgusted.) It looked so bad and awkward at the start, but I've developed some thick skin.\nDRIVER\n\n I'm playing the new TaylorMade R11S (8 degrees, Aldila RIP NV 65 X).\nFAIRWAY WOOD\n\n I know the loft of my TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 3-wood (13.5 degrees, Aldila NV 75 X), but I don't know all my specs for every club. I'm not that much of a techie.\nBUFFALO SOLDIER\n\n My dad collects coins, and he has a bunch of Buffalo nickels. I use this 1929 one because 29 is obviously a great golf number. My mom's also a silversmith. She has engraved several with the names of my wife and kids.\nROCK ON THE RANGE\n\n I listen to music on this Jawbone Jambox on the range. My caddie plays the Bluetooth through his phone. I find it relaxing to hear music while I practice. I'm a classic-rock fan, Southern rock especially, so you're sure to hear some Lynyrd Skynyrd and Allman Brothers.\nIRONS\n\n My 3- through 9-iron are Titleist 712 CB (Nippon N.S. Pro Modus 3 shafts, X-flex, D-4 swingweight). I use Golf Pride New Decade 60 round grips with two wraps of tape. My favorite club is my 8-iron: I can hit it 160 yards or 130 with a ton of confidence.\nHYBRID\n\n Versatility is key for me with my TaylorMade Rescue 11 (Aldila RIP Phenom 105 X). It's easier for me to get in the air and control than a 2-iron.\nWEDGES\n\n I have three Titleist Vokey Design SM4 wedges (True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts). I keep 6-degree loft gaps, bent a degree strong. The guys at Titleist stamp WAGS on them.\nPUTTER\n\n Before switching to this Titleist by Scotty Cameron Newport Mid-Slant (36 inches, 3 degrees of loft) I had the same putter for nine years. But I've only had this one for three months, and I've already won once.
