A time for firsts in Augusta. South African Trevor Immelman won a green jacket AND our best-dressed at the Majors honor

Properly. He's one of the best examples on tour today illustrating it's not what a guy wears, but how he wears it. Oversized polos do not make you a better golfer, but wearing shirts with shoulder seams that sit where they should and having the shirt properly tucked in can make a golfer appear in control.

What he wore: Tiger Woods Collection by Nike Golf UV debossed dark obsidian and sunburst polo with white Nike Golf Dri-Fit flat-front tech pants, signature swoosh-buckled white belt and white and black Nike Golf Air Tour TW 8.5 shoes.Why it worked: Performance polos are the biggest thing to hit golf in years, and here Trevor wears one that's playful--but in a lesson we should all learn--it is not bolder than his game. Immelman isn't afraid of bright colors, but like he shows here, you've got to keep the athletic statement going and dress the body like a piece of golf equipment from head to toe.

Another big trend this season shown here is the pairing of a mega-watt color against black. And pay attention to Immelman's vest; it's also not oversized, a fit that keeps his look sporty and elegant.
